When asked about a commitment to Serie A, the former Real Madrid coach told Sky Italia at the presentation of a documentary about Marcelo Lippi: “A future in Italy? Why not, anything can happen. At the moment I’m doing other things, but we are We’ll see – I would definitely like to return to the bench.”

Zidane made it clear that he would “definitely” work as a coach again.

Zidane has repeatedly been linked with a return to Juventus in the past. The former world-class midfielder is also said to be a candidate to succeed Thomas Tuchel at FC Bayern Munich.

Zidane also raved about Lippi, who brought him to Juve back then. “He’s the first one who believed in me and let me play because in the end it wasn’t easy for him,” he said, adding: “I came from the experience in France, it was a bit difficult for me, me to prepare, but in the end he let me play. So for me he wasn’t just my coach, he made me what I am.”

Zidane has been without a club since 2021 after leaving Real Madrid again. With the Royals he won eleven titles in a total of six years, including the Champions League three times.
