The three big teams in the championship won this Friday evening.

Leader of the Starligue, PSG Handball punished Chartres (44-30) on Friday at Coubertin and remains undefeated in 16 days of the French championship, ahead of Nantes and Montpellier who also made a successful return after the international break.

The European title pocketed by the Blues did not trouble Nikola Karabatic and his team, who resumed their march forward in compact style towards an 11th national title.

With five points ahead of Nantes and seven over MHB, it would take at least three Parisian missteps and a faultless one from the pursuers to witness a scenario other than a tenth coronation in a row for the capital club.

The 5-0 conceded from the start by Chartres drew a well-known script with a less visible actor: the Danish left-back Jacob Holm who piled up 9 goals at half-time (27-13).

It took longer to write for Nantes, ultimately the big winner at Dunkirk (29-23) thanks to a 6-1 inflicted at the end of the match and the precious passes of Aymeric Minne (11 offerings).

In Montpellier, Ivry, in contact for a long time (21-20, 39th) gave in in the last third (35-29), coming up against Rémi Desbonnet (15 saves in total, 38%).
