For the first time, the badminton section of the Foyer laïque de Lanester organized, Friday February 16, a night tournament at the Jean-Zay room. “Fox night – the fox is our mascot – was a success. We didn’t expect to have so many players,” says Camille Le Gohlisse, the section president. The club brought together 144 players (including around twenty Lanesters) who competed in a men’s doubles or mixed doubles tournament, on the seven courts in the hall. The last matches started at 3 a.m. The club is now preparing a youth tournament on March 17, the Morbihan adults championship on June 1 and 23 and its national tournament on June 22 and 23.
