For the 130 children aged 3 to 7 at the judo school, state-certified teachers approach the discipline in a fun way, through motor coordination, agility and opposition. “An important pillar of our work is socialization through the moral code,” explains Anna Hernandez, president of the club. The USV can count on a strong mobilization of volunteers and the unfailing involvement of its three teachers.
A particular distinction highlighted the work provided by Anne Olivier and Rani Jansen, respectively teachers within the club for 21 and 36 years. During the event, they received the departmental Youth and Sports medal from Martine Jardiné, vice-president of the Departmental Council. The teachers were congratulated for “the quality of their educational work with the children and their human qualities which reflect on the entire club”.
