Young people are invited to apply for skating training under the guidance of hockey players
On Friday, February 16, at 6 p.m., the city’s young people are invited to actively spend their free time and join ice skating training together with the players of Jelgava ice hockey club “Zemgale/LBTU”.
“As long as the weather allows, we invite young people to enjoy the winter activity and at the same time take advantage of the opportunity to improve their skating skills under the guidance of professional hockey players,” says the manager of the Špaktele youth center, Beatrice Līva Steinarte, adding that the activity is intended for young people aged 13 to 25. The players of “Zemgale/LBTU” ice hockey club Kristaps Roķis, Kārlis Bucenieks and Kevin Strādnieks will help improve their skating skills.
Up to 30 young people will be able to participate in the lesson. Participation in the event is free, but you must register in advance. Interested parties are invited to fill out the application form HERE.
The youth center reminds: “Špaktele” offers various thematic events every day, provides support for the realization of ideas, rooms and equipment for hobbies, and also offers a place for relaxation. The center at Pasta Street 44 welcomes young people on weekdays from 14:00 to 20:00, as well as every other Saturday from 12:00 to 18:00.
