Scottie Barnes Records Fourth Triple-Double as Raptors Beat Pacers

Scottie Barnes recorded his fourth triple-double of the season and RJ Barrett scored 24 points in a 130-122 victory for the Toronto Raptors over the Pacers on Monday in Indiana.

The Raptors came to spoil the performance of Quebecer Bennedict Mathurin, who equaled his NBA high with 34 points. Former Raptors Pascal Siakam added 27 points, in addition to 9 rebounds and 6 assists.

Barnes finished the game with 21 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists, while 7 Raptors players scored at least 10 points in the victory.

Freshman Gradey Dick scored 18 points and tied a career high this season with 4 3-pointers.

Toronto led 61-56 at halftime, but saw the Pacers score six straight points to start the third quarter and lead 67-66.

The Canadian team responded with an 11-0 streak. However, the Pacers responded and were only three points down after three quarters completed.

Mathurin tied the score at 90-90 early in the fourth quarter and his team then took a 96-95 lead thanks to Jalen Smith’s basket with 10:04 remaining in regulation.

Dick put the Raptors ahead with one of his four three-pointers with 8:01 left, and the Raptors led 112-104 after a 10-2 run.

The Raptors were never worried again.
