Rossi goal at Minnesota shooting festival against Vancouver

The Minnesota Wild with Marco Rossi defeated the Vancouver Canucks 10:7 in front of their home crowd in the National Hockey League (NHL) on Monday after trailing 2:5 and scoring seven goals in the final third.

Rossi made it 7:5 against the NHL leaders in the 45th minute with his 15th goal of the season. The hosts’ outstanding scorers were Joel Eriksson Ek and Kirill Kaprisow with three goals and three assists each. On the other side, JT Miller also scored three times.

With 17 goals, it was the highest-scoring match in Wild club history, and ten goals scored are also a record for the franchise, which has existed since the 2000/01 season. Minnesota is now just two points behind the St. Louis Blues, who currently hold the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
