So it was a promising start for Benoit, which is promising for the new tennis season. The first three tournaments were pretty satisfactory, she says. Her level and attitude on the pitch were good. “That was a good start. And I took some positive things with me, learned things again and was able to keep them consistent – and I want to take them with me for the next tournaments.”
She radiates looseness and also a certain relaxedness. But she doesn’t want to rest on her laurels, but of course continues to have big goals. So it is a big dream for her to reach the top 100. And then of course there are the Grand Slam tournaments. She has already qualified a few times. “But of course I would also like to be able to play in the main draw and just be able to play in all the Grand Slams throughout the year. Of course that would be something!”
