It is in Orléans that the regional judo cup for juniors has just taken place. This meeting in Loiret was a major challenge, since it offered three places per category to participate in the 2024 Coupe de France which will take place in Villebon-sur-Yvette on March 23 and 24.
The Ardentes Judo-Club was represented by two women, Dalliana Cojocariu in less than 36 kg and Louise Lelard in -48 kg. The first ranked 5th, the second fought tirelessly to win, in the small final, a bronze medal synonymous with qualification.
She will not be the only representative of Indre in Villebon. In the same -48 kg category, Castelroussine Léane Natali (AJC), did even stronger by finishing in second place.
Tom Fournier (JC Issoudun) will be the third qualifier from Indre for the Coupe de France, thanks to his second place in -50 kg. His teammate Maxence Prechonnet finished just off the podium.
