“Rally Alūksne” is already traditionally the first stage of the Latvian and Estonian car rally championship and every year gathers an impressive team of participants, as well as a large number of fans, to start the new season powerfully. Renārs Salaks has been participating in the car rally as a co-driver for Zigurds Kalniņš for 11 years and is also organizing the Alūksne rally for the 11th time.
