Westerlo has an interest in taking points so as not to see the red zone get dangerously close. What’s more, the Ivan Leko Standard version is very different from that of Carl Hoefkens. “Ivan is a very different coach,” points out Rik De Mil. “His way of doing things is different, so it was more useful to analyze his matches than to ask Carl for advice.” It remains to be seen whether this will have been effective: response this Friday evening.
