Porzingis and the Celtics return to New York and beat the Knicks for the fourth time this season

In the third quarter, the Celtics shot from the field at one point exceeding 71%. So far in NBA history, only two teams have shot with 70% accuracy. 70.7% in the 1983 San Antonio Spurs 132-120 win over the Dallas Mavericks and 70.5% in the 1981 Chicago Bulls 119-120 loss to the Golden State Warriors.

In Saturday’s match, Boston had shot with 68.4% accuracy after three quarters and was leading 97-84. In the last 12 minutes, the Celtics did not shoot as accurately, dropping to 56.8%, but it was enough for the team to defeat the Knicks for the fourth time of the season and win their eighth straight victory.
