The radio station KKFI-FM released a statement expressing sadness over the loss of a cherished member of their community, who was taken away from her loved ones through a tragic and senseless act. The individual in question was a co-host of the show “Taste of Tejano.”
Rosa Izurieta and Martha Ramirez collaborated with Lopez-Galvan for approximately one year at a nearby staffing company, but had been acquainted with her since childhood. They recalled her as outgoing and a strong believer in the Catholic faith, dedicated to her family, and enthusiastic about connecting job seekers with work opportunities, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.
According to Izurieta and Ramirez, Lopez-Galvan has strong ties to Kansas City. They mentioned that her father established Mariachi Mexico, the city’s initial mariachi group, in the 1980s. The family is highly regarded and involved in the Latino community. During the 90-minute ceremony, she was honored for being a caring spouse and mother whose radiant smile could brighten any room. She embraced each day with enthusiasm and joy.
Travis Kelce generously gave a donation of 0,000 to the family of Lopez-Galvan.
They mentioned that having a part-time job as a music player enabled her to express her enthusiasm as one of the few Latina DJs in the region.
Since she was sporting a Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker jersey at the event, he received and responded to social media inquiries asking for assistance in acquiring a similar jersey. This may have been in hopes that the mother of two could be buried in it.
On February 14th, Lisa Lopez-Galvan was among a group of approximately 24 individuals who were wounded by gunfire outside Union Station in the city. She was 43 years old.
Last week on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” Beto Lopez stated in an interview, “This is yet another instance of a genuine and caring individual whose life was senselessly ended in a tragic act.”
