Persebaya Surabaya Continues Preparation Amidst Busy Liga 1 Schedule

KOMPAS.com – Persebaya Surabaya continues to prepare in the middle of the schedule Liga 1 2023-2024.

Coach Paul Munster still chose to train in Surabaya even though the two consecutive matches were played away from home.

He decided to immediately return to Surabaya after playing the 25th week match against Persita Tangerang which ended in a 1-1 draw.

In the midst of a short break and having to continue the next away match against PSM Makassar, he preferred to rest his players in Surabaya, even if it was short.

According to him, this is an effort by the coaching team to maintain the physical and psychological condition of the players so that they are not burdened by a fairly busy match schedule.

“After the match against Persita, we immediately returned to Surabaya because we still had three days to recover,” said Paul Munster.

“We went home, practiced for a while and then went again,” he added.
