Patrick Mahomes did it again. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback led his team to an impressive and dramatic last-minute victory in the definition of the Super Bowl longest of all time. It is the third Vince Lombardi trophy they have taken home in just four years. The dynasty led by Mahomes is already entering a historic discussion for which we will have to be ready. The undoubted thing is that his influence on his team already surpasses the casual. There is no way to deny the impact he has had at key moments.
Not even that is left for those who doubted, like David Faitelson, who threw a provocative question at X during overtime: “The best Mahomes has not appeared… Will he now?” the communicator asked recklessly. The answer came immediately when a miraculous ball left Mahomes’ hands for Mecole Hardman. Thus the victory of Kansas City was sealed and the glory of Patrick was staged, who at 28 years old still has an entire career ahead of him to face the thousand and one debates that are put on his path.

The play that exemplifies what Patrick Mahomes is: that one on fourth and one, when he took the ball, made a deception and ran to his right to sustain the Kansas City attack. “One day, he will be considered one of the greatest quarterbacks in history.”

+ The best Superbowl in history…
+ The best quarterback in history…
There is no need to rush. Tomorrow, colder, we will analyze it.
Great game and a figure of legendary proportions like Patrick Mahomes, but…— David Faitelson (@DavidFaitelson_) February 12, 2024
Of course, as if not to give up, Faitelson said that there is no need to make immediate judgments about what happened and that he will have to take time to evaluate the correct dimension of everything that has been seen tonight in Las Vegas: if it is the best Super Bowl of all, if Patrick Mahomes already enters a historical list of best quarterbacks. In any case, Faitelson found that it is not good to speak ahead of time.
