The first ordinary meeting of the Patagonian Sports Entity concluded this Wednesday afternoon at the Rawson Provincial Sports Hotel, in which all the sports leaders of the region participated.
During the conclave that lasted two days, aspects inherent to the sports programs regulated by the entity for 2024 were defined.
The meeting was led by the president of Chubut Deportes Milton Reyes and the undersecretary of Sports of La Pampa and current president of Epade, Ceferino Almudévar.
Also participating as members of the Executive Committee are: Nahuel Astutti (Secretary of Sports of Río Negro), Ignacio Russo (Undersecretary of Sports of Neuquén), Gustavo Coronel (Secretary of Sports of Santa Cruz), Gabriel Coto (Undersecretary of High Performance of Tierra del Fire).
And as members of the Technical Committee were Mariano Ferro and Dario Figueroa (Chubut), Nicolas Cetta (Santa Cruz), Hannibal Francischelli (Rio Negro), Fernando Porlay and Gustavo Moreno (La Pampa), Alejandro Zambon and Roberto Rosas (Neuquen).
EPADE AT HOME
It should be noted that the schedule was defined with dates and venues for all the Patagonian competitions and the most important fact for Chubut sport is that the province was confirmed to host the Epade and ParaEpade Games, which will take place from the 18th to the 22nd. of August.
Although there are still meetings to confirm the venues, in principle Comodoro Rivadavia would host conventional athletics and PwD, conventional swimming and PwD, soccer in both branches, boccia and 3×3 wheelchair basketball.
In Trelew and Rawson, judo and basketball will be held, in both branches, while in Esquel and Trevelin, volleyball and mountain biking will be held, also in both.
SCHEDULE 2024
In addition to confirming Chubut as the venue for the Patagonia Games, the rest of the annual schedule was defined, establishing that the ParaAraucanía Games will be from May 5 to 10 in Santa Rosa, La Pampa, while the Patagonian Integration Games They are scheduled for June 20 to 23 in Neuquén and finally, the Araucanía Binational Games will be from November 10 to 16 in the Chilean Region of Aysén.
