Through the meeting “Judo, art and sport also for women”, the Panathlon Club La Malpensa wanted to immediately push hard on teaching and inclusion. Themes dear to panathletic ethics to a greater extent with a malthinking declination.
Yesterday evening, Monday 19 February, the tensile structure of the “Galileo Galilei” high school in Viale Gorizia 16 in Legnano hosted a technical Judo demonstration with the Maribor 2002 European Champion Cinzia Cavazzuti and the young athletes of the Legnano Judo Club of President Angelo Margarone. Directors of the event, it goes without saying, representing the Institute, the Sports Science Teacher Prof. Romina Milani and, at Judo Club Legnano, the Past President and thirty-year frontman Ferdinando Bizzarri.
Art and Sport, it was said. Two complementary attributions of the discipline founded by Jigoro Kano that Cavazzuti (now also Vice President of FIJLKAM Lombardia) was able to combine by alternating the more strictly theoretical part with the technical captions of what happened on the tatami. The result respected the panathletic intentions and purposes of the meeting as underlined by the Governor of Area 02 Lombardy Attilio Belloli.
The evening traditionally ended with rigorous legs under the table with a dinner at the Borgo Antico restaurant in Legnano which, in addition to reiterating the formal handover at the top of the La Malpensa Club between the Past President Giovanni Castiglioni and the newly elected Sergio La Torre, proposed the entry of two new members, Barbara Delocchio (Head of KyronLab) and Carlo Bandera (President of ASSL).
The presence of the Legnano Sports Councilor Guido Bragato, the President of the Ticino Olona Foundation Salvatore Forte and the President of the Rotary Ticino Luigi Rondanini was a secular blessing.
