Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, Neymar for short, has been under contract with Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia since the summer of 2023. The Brazilian star attacker opted for an adventure in the Saudi Pro League, which allowed his old employer Paris Saint-Germain to contribute an amount of around ninety million euros.
The French top club could then invest this money in a replacement for Neymar. One of the players that PSG signed that summer is Ousmane Dembélé. The two-legged winger came over from FC Barcelona and had to help make Neymar forget.
That transfer has not yet turned out as PSG probably hoped. In 28 appearances for the club, Dembélé managed a creditable 10 assists. However, his goal production remains stuck at one.
This statistic did not go unnoticed and a Neymar fan account made off with it on Instagram. The 128-time Brazil international decided to respond under the message and only needed one sign: an emoji of a smiling face.
Neymar’s response consisted of just one sign.
