The player will return next season with Baltimore after extending his relationship with the club, so he will not reach free agency
OWINGS MILLS — The Baltimore Ravens signed Nelson Agholor to a one-year contract extension, preventing one of their most experienced wide receivers from reaching free agency.
Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Nelson Agholor’s contract would have been voided this Monday at 4:00 pm Eastern Time and would have impacted $1.668 million in dead money in 2024.

Nelson Agholor, 30, caught 35 passes for 381 yards, ranking fifth on the Ravens in his first season in Baltimore. He added four touchdowns.
This means the Ravens will have three of quarterback Lamar Jackson’s top four wide receivers back. The only scheduled free agent is Odell Beckham Jr.

Drafted in the first round by the Philadelphia Eagles in 2015, Nelson Agholor racked up 375 receptions for 4,627 yards and 35 touchdown receptions for the Eagles, Las Vegas Raiders, New England Patriots and Ravens.
Last season the Ravens had the sixth-best offense in total yards (370.4 yards per game) and the fourth-best in points scored (28.4 per game), yet their 3,635 passing yards ranked 21st in the NFL.
Baltimore finished 2023 with a 13-4 record to finish as the No. 1 seed in the American Conference, but after beating the Houston Texans in the Divisional Round they were out of the playoffs after losing at home 17-10 to the eventual champions Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game.
Next season the Ravens will host the Cincinnati Bengals, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, Denver Broncos, Raiders, Eagles, Washington Commanders and Buffalo Bills, their away games will be against the Bengals, Browns, Steelers, Texans, Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers , Dallas Cowboys, New York Giants and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
