NBA Recap: Stephen Curry’s Last-Second Heroics Lead Warriors to Victory

Stephen Curry This Saturday he sentenced the victory of Golden State Warriors about Phoenix Suns with a triple shot in the last second while Cleveland Cavaliers extended his fabulous streak by achieving his ninth win in a row.

With 3.3 seconds on the clock, Curry received a long, difficult pass from Brandin Podziemski that took him almost to the center court logo. Bradley Beal was in charge of defending him but he over-braked trying to steal the ball, which left Curry a minimum of space to adjust, aim for the rim and nail a monumental three-pointer with only 0.7 seconds left.

Curry finished with 30 points including 9 of 16 on three-pointers. He also contributed 9 rebounds and 6 assists to the Warriors who smiled again with four consecutive victories and six wins in their last seven games (25-25 balance). In addition, Dominican Lester Quiñones had 6 points and 3 rebounds.

Devin Booker (32 points and 6 assists) and Kevin Durant (24 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists) were Phoenix’s top scorers.

RAPTORS 95 – CAVALIERS 119
