NBA Fines PJ Tucker $75,000 for Publicly Requesting Trade

The NBA has fined PJ Tucker of the Los Angeles Clippers for publicly mentioning that he wanted to be traded to another team.

The amount of the fine is $75,000.

He had expressed his wish to change address before the transaction deadline, having not played since November 27. He was obtained by the Clippers in the trade with the Philadelphia 76ers which also involved James Harden.

The 38-year-old averaged a low 1.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in 15 games this season.

In 13 seasons in the NBA, the man who won a championship with the Milwaukee Bucks in 2021 also played for the Toronto Raptors, the Phoenix Suns, the Houston Rockets and the Miami Heat.
