NBA Executives Harrison Barnes and Garrett Temple Re-elected for Three More Years

NBA – The two men continue their mission within the players’ union for three more years.

As with every All-Star Weekend, the players’ union (National Basketball Players Association, or NBPA) gathered, and it was the opportunity to extend or not certain executives. In this context, two members were extended. As it happens, Harrison Barnes et Garrett Templewho were reaching the end of their mandates, retain the confidence of the players.

The first has been secretary/treasurer since 2021 while the second has been vice-president since 2017, like others with him: Bismack Biyombo, Malcolm Brogdon, Jaylen Brown, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Donovan Mitchell. There is also a first vice-president, elected in February 2023, who is none other than Grant Williams

Everyone is re-elected to their position for the next three years. “I thank my peers for placing their trust in me”says Harrison Barnes in a press release. “It is an honor to be re-elected as vice president”adds Garrett Temple.

“I am delighted to have Harrison and Garrett back as members of the office,” for his part commented the president of the players’ union, CJ McCollum. “They have a wealth of knowledge and insight into our players’ experiences, and their leadership has been an invaluable resource during critical periods in our union’s history. I look forward to continuing to work with them. »
