NBA: Curry keeps Golden State afloat at the last second – Basketball

With a shot with one second left, Stephen Curry gave the Golden State Warriors the victory against the Phoenix Suns in the NBA. At 35 years old (36 in March), after 14 seasons in San Francisco, four NBA titles (2015, 2017, 2018 and 2022) and two MVP awards (2015 and 2016), Curry continues to keep the flame of a struggling franchise alive in this season. Curry scored 30 points to help his Warriors win (113-112) against the Phoenix Suns of Kevin Durant (24 points) and Devin Booker (32). With this success, the Warriors climb to 10th place in the Western Conference, last place for the play-offs. A test awaits them on Monday with a trip to Salt Lake City, where their assistant coach Dejan Milojevic suffered cardiac arrest three weeks ago during a restaurant dinner with some members of the team.

In Toronto, the Cleveland Cavaliers continue their magnificent series with their ninth success (119-95), the result of collective work (8 players with more than 10 points) which consolidates second place in the East. Private ;;by Joel Embiid, the Philadelphia 76ers regain victory after four defeats, dominating the weak Washington Wizards (119-113). The San Antonio Spurs suffered their seventh defeat in Brooklyn (123-103), while Luka Doncic (32 points) largely contributed to Dallas’ victory over Oklahoma City (146-111), which loses second place in the overall West standings to advantage of the Los Angeles Clippers, winners against Detroit (112-106).
