Naturalized Player Justin Hubner Shines as Left Back for Wolves U-21

Naturalized player Indonesian National team Justin Hubner He played again as a left back when he helped Wolves U-21 win 3-0 over West Brom U-21 in the Premier League 2 match.

In the match which was held at the New Bucks Head Ground Stadium, Telford, Tuesday (20/2) early morning WIB, Justin Hubner appeared as a starter for Wolves and played the full role at left back in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

This is not the first time Hubner has played at left back. Previously, Hubner also played expertly at left back when defending Wolves U-21, beating Charlton U-21 with a score of 2-0 at Princes Park Stadium, Kent, Tuesday (6/2).

Meanwhile, the three goals scored by Wolves U-21 against West Brom were scored by two goals from Leon Chiwome in the 52nd and 70th minutes. Then another goal was created by Wolves U-21 defender Alfie Pond.

These additional three points make Wolves U-21 occupy seventh place in the Premier League 2 standings with 23 points from the 14 matches played.

Wolves U-21 also succeeded in opening up the opportunity to break into the top five of Premier League 2. Now, Wolves are only two points adrift of Fulham who are in fifth place with 25 points.

This victory also made Wolves U-21 successful in maintaining a positive trend by never losing in the last four matches in a row.

Meanwhile, Wolves U-21 coach James Collins’ confidence in playing Justin Hubner at left back has further enriched the Dutch player’s playing position.

Justin Hubner, whose original position is central defender, was previously trusted by Indonesian national team coach Shin Tae Yong to play in the defensive midfielder position in the 2023 Asian Cup.
