The Africa Cup is over for Werder’s Naby Keïta (28). Guinea was eliminated in the quarter-finals after losing 3-1 to the Democratic Republic of Congo. The man from Bremen has long since packed his things on the Ivory Coast and is expected on the Weser shortly.
Football boss Clemens Fritz told BILD: “He lands in Bremen on Tuesday and will receive treatment in the afternoon. Then we’ll get an idea of how he’s doing and when he’ll start training again.”
