Zachary Bolduc gave himself the best holiday gift Saturday afternoon, when he scored his first career goal in the National League.
The former Quebec Remparts accepted a nice pass from Brandon Saad in the slot, before beating Alex Lyon with a free throw.
Recalled Tuesday by the St. Louis Blues, Bolduc only needed two games to break the ice in the NHL.
A first-round pick in 2021, the Trois-Rivières native had collected 23 points in 48 games in the American League before his recall. In the QMJHL with the Remparts, he reached the 50-goal mark twice.
