Mixture of football and table tennis: Teqball is great

The truth is only partly there. The other part: lies in social networks. Anyone who succeeds there with trendy posts and cool clips can be considered a big player, although in reality they are rather tiny.

Teqball for example. Only invented in 2015, just a few thousand people in the world play this mixture of football and table tennis on a curved table. But in a current evaluation of which association has the largest following in social networks, the International Teqball Federation takes seventh place with more than eight million followers (growth: 142 percent!), leaving the badminton association, the cycling union and the automobile sports association behind they look like pseudo giants.

You may find this astonishing, but you can also watch excerpts from Teqball online. Holding up the ball behind a crooked plate or stopping balls with your head may seem strange at first.

But at the latest when an experienced kicker smashes the ball onto the plate with a side kick, the spectator is done for. Teqball is great. For real.
