Good morning friends of OA Sport and welcome to the LIVE LIVE of the second free practice session of the Bahrain GP, first stage of the 2024 Formula 1 World Championship.
We start on Thursday, as this first weekend will culminate in the race on Saturday: this is because Ramadan will begin on March 10th and therefore next week the Saudi Arabian GP will take place on Saturday. An advance that pushes everything back a day.
We will start from the Sakhir track, where the pre-season tests have just taken place which once again showed Max Verstappen superior to all the competition. The three-time world champion, after a monopolized 2023, wants to continue in this vein to achieve further satisfaction. Behind Verstappen he will try to enter first Ferrari. There are many cars and drivers who will try to do great things. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz for different reasons they have a lot of motivation this year and will try to stay as close as possible to the top, trying to make the Red team constantly be the second force in the championship.
