“I had to play the perfect match in the final to win against my partner with whom I am used to training. Mentally it was difficult. I had to stop for two weeks after a recent hospitalization. The semi-final was not easy. But it’s a source of pride to have achieved the hat-trick despite that.”

Among the women, Carla Dubois also obtained victory on all three tables in U19. After a success in women’s doubles alongside Jeanne Leroux, she won the distinction in singles against Léonie Ferand (2-0). “The difference in level between the group stage and the finals was significant. It was difficult to get back into it,” said the young player qualified for the French championship scheduled for May in Lyon.
Host club of the regional championship, the Fous du Volant de Kervignac stood out with nine medals including four titles. “Our club benefits from the heterogeneous level among the girls. We have seen matches with gaps of more than 20 points,” explains the president, Vincent Leroux.
