He Granada CF reached an agreement with Manchester United for incorporation as ceded from the Uruguayan extreme Facundo Pellistriwhich is the eighth red-and-white reinforcement in the current winter market.
Granada announced the incorporation this Wednesday night after several days of negotiations with the player and with the English club, from which he arrives on loan until the end of this season. Pellistri, 22, will begin training this Thursday under the command of his compatriot Alexander Medina and will make his debut in the match that Granada will play on Saturday against Las Palmas.
The Uruguayan winger trained at Peñarol in his country and in 2020 he made the leap to Europe when he was transferred to Manchester United. He is international with the Uruguayan senior team and has experience in Spain since He was on loan for a season and a half at Alavés.
Pellistri is Granada’s eighth winter reinforcement after the arrival of goalkeeper Augusto Batalla, on loan from River Plate; Uruguayan center back Bruno Méndez (Corinthians); the Polish central defender Kamil Piatkwoski, on loan from Salzburg; of the Uruguayan striker Matías Arezo, picked up after being on loan at Peñarol; the Cameroonian midfielder Martin Hongla (Hellas Verona); the French full-back Faitout Maouassa, on loan from Bruges; and goalkeeper Marc Martínez (Cartagena).
