The Copa del Rey de Málaga 2024 will be a ‘non-stop’ tournament of activities and entertainment to accompany the best national basketball, with music, shows and spaces for the enjoyment of fans in the center of Málaga and at the Martín Carpena.
The ACB has eight days of activities planned throughout the city, which will start on Sunday the 11th with the new entertainment concept ACB BEATS, promoted by the ACB and Never Say Never (NSN), which will bring a complete show by Lola Índigo (19: 30h).
The Andalusian artist will perform at the Martín Carpena and will begin a Copa del Rey that will not stop. A photographic exhibition with the best of the 40 years of the Copa del Rey and 20 of the Minicopa Endesa will theme the central Larios street from Monday the 12th.
Meanwhile, ACB BEATS will continue playing on Tuesday and Wednesday with concerts by iPop (Tuesday 11pm) and JavyPablo (Wednesday 7pm) at the Antojo room in Soho in Malaga.
Meanwhile, from Thursday to Sunday, the Movistar Fan Zone will flood the center of Malaga with activities. The Plaza de la Marina will host La Jaula Movistar with the 3×3 Cup with the Indoor league and more shows, and spaces from Lotus, Amayu and Unicaja Baloncesto.
In addition, the Plaza de la Constitución will have daily concerts by Endesa Music Lover, with a big party on Sunday with DJNano (4:15 p.m.), and more Endesa basketball activities, as well as a digital games area (Pick&Win) and a 360º video booth from Unicaja Banco, official Spalding store and Valencia Basket space.
At Pier One will be Toyota, with a Special Olympics activity on Thursday at 11 and a virtual reality driving area, and Samsung, which will bring dynamics with influencers. In addition, after the semifinals on Saturday, there will be a nighttime Movistar drone show, completing a wide range of leisure activities throughout the center, designed for locals and visitors.
The fans’ party will be held on Saturday the 17th starting at 12:00 in the Plaza de la Marina with the fans’ meeting, that moment in which fans of all the teams come together to enjoy the Copa del Rey with sportsmanship.
The ball and the competition will come into play from Wednesday the 14th at the Pérez Canca Pavilion, in the Javier Imbroda Sports City, with an Endesa Mini Cup that turns 20 years old. From Thursday the 15th, the Copa del Rey spectacle will begin at the Carpena with the quarterfinal matches, on the way to the fight for the title.
The Martín Carpena will dress up, welcoming fans with a DJ and activations in front of the pavilion, and with a grand opening show scheduled at half-time of the first match. The Cup will also end with live music: Movistar and Endesa will bring a performance by La La Love You on Saturday and on Sunday, in the grand final, a show by DJ Nano and Pablo Méndez.
