The sports facility in via Orcagna will soon see new extraordinary maintenance works thanks to the project proposed by Bsc Grosseto 1952. This is the decision taken by the Vivarelli Colonna municipal council which, during its last session, declared the work of public interest redevelopment, the value of which is 180 thousand euros.
The proposed intervention includes a series of improvements including the arrangement and implementation of an irrigation system for the main field, the resurfacing of the playing diamond for the baseball field, the sowing of grass on the baseball and softball fields , the restoration of the lighting system, the installation of a scoreboard, the construction of an additional grandstand for the public and the construction of new changing rooms for the visiting team on the softball field.
“This is an important project that will significantly strengthen a well-known sports facility in our city, offering better opportunities to all baseball and softball enthusiasts – comment the mayor Antonfrancesco Vivarelli Colonna and the sports councilor Fabrizio Rossi -. It is the priority of the municipal administration to carry out redevelopment interventions, perfecting the city’s systems and, consequently, the service offered to the Grosseto community”.
