There will be no new national title for Lucas Corvée. The badminton player from Alençon, now licensed in Issy-les-Moulineaux, participated in the 2024 French badminton championships in Fos-sur-Mer (February 2-4), in men’s doubles.

Two pairs for a place at Paris 2024

He and his partner Ronan Labar failed in the final against the pair formed by the Popov brothers, Christo and Toma, after a match that was indecisive until the end (22-24, 21-12, 17-21).

Like their fierce fight in the Olympic race: the two tandems are fighting to snatch the quota place allocated to France for Paris 2024. The pair Corvée and Labar rank 33rd in the worldone place ahead of the Popov brothers.

Former singles player converted to doubles since 2020, Lucas Corvée has two national titles in singles (2016 and 2017) and one in doubles (2021).
