Liverpool Begin Search for Klopp’s Replacement as German Manager Announces Departure

Jakarta

Liverpool have to look for a new manager to replace Juergen Klopp in next season. However, the German tactician is truly irreplaceable.

Klopp decided to end his journey at Liverpool which lasted almost a decade. This decision was made even though the Reds still have two years left on their contract.

The 56-year-old manager has been in charge of ‘The Reds’ since October 2015 and has succeeded in returning them to glory. Liverpool ended their 30-year Premier League title drought and won their sixth Champions League title.

Klopp’s assistant at Liverpool, Pepijn Lijnders, feels that no one can replace Klopp. This is proven by how Liverpool transitioned in the Klopp coaching era.

“No one can replace Jurgen Klopp. But I think the past has shown some difficult transitions,” said Lijnders, quoted by France24.

The most difficult transition within this club was (Bill) Shankly). Developed at (Bob) Paisley (in 1974) and was completely different from Shanks,” he continued.

“This shows, as a club, we have to look for someone who wants to develop, who has a growth mindset,” he stressed.

Liverpool played aggressively and very attacking in the Klopp era. This is what makes the Reds successful and very feared by opponents.
