I find it hard to believe that Maxi Kleber managed to score 21 points in an NBA game during the year 2024. However, he proved us wrong by achieving just that! Not only did he make 4 out of 7 three-pointers, but he also scored four times from inside the arc. This was his first time scoring in double digits this season, and it was also the most two-point baskets he has made since a game back in November 2022.

He previously played as a “stretch 4-5” and may potentially do so again.

Eventually, the continuous complaining about anything occurring in a Mavericks game by a member of the team becomes overwhelming.

One of the reasons why Kleber is frustrating to cover is not because of his occasional scoring slumps, which occur to all players, but because he rarely looks at the basket during possessions. Despite being a talented player and a proficient shooter, he simply needs to continue taking shots.

Luka Doncic expressing frustration over a missed call, Mark Cuban yelling at the referees from the bench, Tim Hardaway Jr. and Grant Williams voicing complaints beyond their roles, or the TV commentators expressing displeasure with the officiating… it has become a widespread issue. The only person not involved is coach Jason Kidd, who shares his disapproval after the game as if he is a bystander with no influence on the outcome.

Dallas is not composed.

Dallas struggled on offense and defense, making mistakes and missing shots. The Bucks took advantage of this and gained a steady lead of seven to nine points throughout the period. Despite being able to score, Dallas struggled to stop the Bucks and secure rebounds. Led by Dame and Giannis, Milwaukee ultimately defeated Dallas 129-117.

The fatigue that plagued Dallas in the second quarter persisted into the third, causing the Bucks to slowly chip away until they regained their first lead since the opening minutes when they were ahead 5-3. The Mavericks struggled to find their rhythm in the latter part of the third quarter, but finally found a breakthrough and closed the six-point gap. Surprisingly, Maxi Kleber, who had been playing exceptionally well, made a couple of key shots to keep Dallas in contention. The third quarter ended with Dallas trailing the Bucks by just one point, with a score of 93-92.

Verification of existence from Maxi Kleber

The Mavericks started strong by making 7 out of 8 three-point shots against the Bucks. However, there was a moment of concern for Dallas fans when Doncic and Giannis got caught up and Doncic’s ankle twisted in an unusual manner. Despite this, Doncic was able to come back and assist in maintaining the Mavericks’ lead against Milwaukee. The team made 9 out of 14 three-pointers in the quarter, resulting in a 44-20 lead at the end of the first 12 minutes.

The team and its fans are both feeling frustrated. With injuries and unfortunate circumstances, losses are currently more disheartening because it seems like we may never get to witness the potential this team has.The Dallas Mavericks fell at home to the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night, losing 129-117. Giannis Antetokounmpo played a fantastic game, scoring 48 points, grabbing six rebounds, and dishing 10 assists to go along with his five steals and a block. Dame Lillard got in on the fun, pouring in 30 on 10-of 11 shooting from the floor. Luka Doncic scored 40 in defeat.

However, the only solution to certain situations is to face them head on; the NBA season is demanding and the Mavericks must reflect on their performance, regroup, and finish the schedule strongly before the NBA All-Star break.

In the second quarter, Dallas maintained their offensive momentum while also withstanding an initial push from the Bucks after they reduced the deficit to 17 points. However, as the Mavericks extended their lead to 25 and substituted Luka out, they began to struggle. Both teams exchanged shots, but Dallas struggled to make them count while the Bucks attacked the rim with pressure. The last two minutes were humiliating for the Mavericks as the Bucks went on a 15-0 run, bringing the score to 65-60 at halftime.
