Last week to request a place in the A Lanzada 2024 Camps which, this year, will take place between June 23 and September 7 at the facilities that the Provincial Council of Pontevedra has in O Grove. Until next Tuesday, February 27 You can request one of the 1,540 places offered to enjoy the leisure program in which young people will carry out a wide and complete range of activities.
At the Lanzada Holiday Center children will be able to enjoy proposals as alternative sports, archery, orienteering, obstacle course, bodyboarding, snorkeling or beach games, among others. They will also carry out circus activities such as juggling, clowning or balancing; of knowledge of the environment, excursions to places such as Monte da Siradella or the Isla de Ons, workshops, games or evenings. A whole week of leisure that will end with a great final party, in which, in addition, the group’s mascot will be selected from among those that all the children will create.
The camps will be distributed in eleven shifts of seven days duration eachfrom Sunday to Saturday, and are aimed at boys and girls registered in some of the province’s councils born between 2011 and 2016, both included.
The first of the shifts of the A Lanzada Camps It will begin on June 23, and will run until the 29th of that same month.. The rest will take place between July 30 and 6, July 7 to 13, July 14 and 20, July 28 to August 3, August 4 to 10, August 11 to 17 , August 18 to 24, August 25 to 31, and September 1 to 7, although the duration of the last shift will be conditional on the start date of the 2024-2025 school year that will be published by the Xunta de Galicia soon. .
140 children will participate in each shift. until completing the 1,540 places offered, of which 210 will be reserved for minors in a situation or risk of social exclusion and the remaining 1,330 will be awarded by general procedure.
The price of These last places are 110 euros, 80 in case they are minors from a large or single-parent family, while the Provincial Council will assume 100% of the price of the places intended for the social inclusion of children in the province. Requests for places can be made through the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council and, as in previous years, they will be awarded by lottery.
