And although the injuries, unfortunately, do not abandon the Iblea team together with the season’s ailments.
This, in summary, is the photograph of the multiple competitive commitments of the Asd Free Ball Ragusa.
Let’s start with the First Division. Clear success, even if fought, against an excellent team, Vittoria, who gave the Iblei a hard time.
The final result was three sets to zero, at the end of a match in which the Iblei, albeit in small numbers, managed to lead the match from start to finish, without pauses, and exploiting an excellent streak that is characterizing this start to season.
Success also for the Under 19s, against Avola, again clear, with a 3-0 final which showcased the grit and commitment of coach Bottone and Migliore’s boys.
Difficult away match, but positive result, also for the Under 15s, capable of beating the Siracusa Pro Players by 3 sets to 1 at home. Despite some moments of difficulty, the young Hyblean talents managed to win a difficult challenge, but one conducted with great merit.
Finally, defeat. The Under 19s, in the heartfelt and well-attended derby against Modica, managed to snatch just one set, with a final defeat, 3 to 1, which gave credit to the strength and excellent technical rate achieved by their opponents.
“They were very hard fought and tough challenges, regardless of the final results – explains coach Massimiliano Migliore – but they showed the excellent level we have achieved in all categories. And this despite injuries and seasonal ailments that unfortunately make us work with limited numbers. It’s okay, we don’t worry, also because the boys, in all the challenges, showed off a great group. The defeat against Modica? It’s unfortunate, because we really could have made a clear path, but our opponents were simply better than us. Our congratulations to them, we continue to work for the next challenges.”
