La Fusión extended its winning streak by beating the Rioja team 85-73 at home.

Those led by Ramella had a great second half and beat the Riojans by 85/73 to remain unstoppable in La Liga. Robinson and Brussino added 14 points each. Now the Fusion is preparing to travel to Brazil for the BCLAmericas.
The start of the game was favorable for the visitor with Young (12 points) hurting from long and short distances in addition to the contribution of Castillo to get a 16/9 in five minutes. La Fusión improved with Basabe breaking towards the basket and a triple from Acevedo, Robinson appeared to tie the first segment at 22 a side.
Young was still on fire in Riachuelo, but the Quimsa bench gave in with Vasirani and Zezular to stay on fire. The Santiago team continued scoring with Vasirani and Gallizzi, but Maldonado and Ibarguen made it 45/40 for the Eternos.
After halftime, Ibarguen encouraged the Rioja team to try to escape, but the Fusion sustained it with good passes from Brussino and Ramirez Barrios. Two three-pointers in a row by Robinson along with Gallizzi near the rim gave Ramella’s team the lead at 65/57 with one quarter left.
Bombs from Sansimoni and Rolfi widened the gap for the homeowner, Young tried to discount, but Quimsa was still fine with Vasirani and Zezular. Santiago triumphed by 85/73 to achieve its 16th victory in a row in La Liga and remain firm at the top of the table. Tayavek Gallizzi added a double – double with 12 rebounds and 11 points, Juan Ignacio Brussino and Brandon Robinson contributed 14 points each. On visit Anthony Young 16.
The Fusion will have the next objective of ensuring its classification to the quarterfinals of the BCLAmericas when it plays in Brazil the third window of its group against Nacional (Sunday) and the local Saõ Paulo (Monday).
