Juventus Ambyar, Easy to Concede

Juventus is in crisis after failing to win in its last four matches in Serie A. Juventus’ back line has been very fragile lately.

Juventus have only won two points in the last four matches in Liga Italia. The Bianconeri drew against Empoli and Hellas Verona and lost to Inter Milan and Udinese.

In these four matches, Juventus conceded five goals. That means Juventus concedes an average of 1.25 goals per match.

Overall, Juventus’ number of goals conceded (17) is still the second best in Serie A behind Inter Milan. However, the five goals scored against Juventus in the last four matches is a bad sign.

That means 30% of the total goals scored against Juventus in Serie A this season. Even though Juventus’ back line was very strong, conceding only six goals in the previous 16 matches.

Juventus’ attack line is also dragging goals. Dusan Vlahovic et al. only scored three goals in the last four matches in Serie A.

With a total of 38 goals from 25 matches in Serie A this season, Juventus is only in fifth place in the ranking of the most productive teams in the league.

As a result of this series of negative results, Juventus is increasingly falling behind Inter Milan in the race for the Scudetto. Even though they are still in second place in the Italian League standings with 54 points, Massimiliano Allegri’s troops are nine points away from Inter who are at the top.
