Judo is back in vogue with kids, as was also evident at the Pillerseecup, which attracted 15 clubs and 222 girls and boys.
Freudenbrunn | At the weekend, the judo club invited people to the Pillerseecup 2024 in Fieberbrunn. Chairman Philipp Rieseberg was more than enthusiastic about taking part: “All Tyrolean clubs took part, as well as the judo clubs from Saalfelden, Saalbach and Rauris.” A total of 222 children from 15 clubs fought for victory. The sports hall at the Fieberbrunn elementary school was bursting at the seams. The tournament also left nothing to be desired in terms of excitement and the judo kids aged eight to twelve impressed with great performances.

“A huge thank you to all participants who ensured unforgettable moments with passion and fair play. It was a great day for the children, full of laughter, joy and sporting achievements. The event showed how sport connects, promotes and inspires,” says Rieseberg, looking forward to further tournaments. sh
