JJJC Rheintal Approves New Building Project at AGM: Honoring Commitment to Club

President Roger Müller welcomed the members of the JJJC Rheintal at the AGM in the Brewery Restaurant in Berneck. The new building project developed by the board was unanimously approved. This allows the committee to move on to the next planning phase and financing of the project.

It aims to replace the existing building at Rietstrasse 35 in Balgach, which is in need of renovation, with a new, two-story building. This will provide members with a larger infrastructure in the future that meets their needs and the club’s sporting goals.

42 years of commitment to the JJJC Rheintal

The board of the HV also proposed Daniel Federer as a new honorary member of the Rheintal Judo and Ju-Jitsu Club. In the laudatory speech, actuary Christian Rebholz talked about Federer’s 42 years of membership, which is characterized by tireless commitment to the sport of judo and the club. Today he still works as a student coach and accompanies the youngsters in competitions. He received a certificate of honor and an engraved pepper mill to great applause.

On the board, Rita Mül-ler announced her resignation as cashier after ten years of service. The members of the AGM unanimously elected Corina Wigger as their successor. The remaining board members and the president were confirmed in their positions for a further two years.

Various people honored for anniversaries

Jörg Spirig has been a member of the club for 50 years. For this anniversary, the President presented him with a certificate and an engraved pepper mill. The board also awarded him free membership for his loyalty to the club. Five members were also honored with a present: Rita Müller for her work on the board, Kurt Frei and Balz Schumacher for 20 years as auditors, Andri Halter as J+S-
Head of Children’s Sports and Benito Postai for his many years of work as a coach.

The eight hardest-working members were honored for their active participation in training, competitions and club events. Corina Wigger won this ranking ahead of Giuseppe Lavanga and Yury Molodtsov. Finally, the president thanked all members for their active participation for the benefit of the association.
