If not, each country will be able to qualify one athlete in singles, if the second is out of the top 16, and one pair in doubles, if the second is out of the top eight. This entails, for the countries with the greatest tradition, the obligation to reduce the quotas almost to a minimum, and, also considering the continental representationwill allow countries with representatives behind in the ranking to have some qualified athletes.

Italyat the moment, would see qualified for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games Giovanni Toti in the men’s singlesbut it will be necessary to defend the pass for just over two months, those remaining until the ranking is closed, especially from attacks by Fabio Caponiocon the two fighting for the passwhile for doubles the climb up the Olympic ranking appears complex.
