From Friday 1st to Sunday 3rd March Tashkent will host the third Grand Slam seasonal (and fourth overall event, also counting the Grand Prix in Portugal) of the 2024 World Tour of Judo. This is a fundamental event for many athletes in the running for Olympic qualification, because a maximum of 1000 points will be up for grabs (to the winners of each category) for the five-circle rankings. Over 500 are expected in the Uzbek capital Judoka from 70 different countries, including Italy.
