Karolina Pliskova was unable to take part in the semi-final duel against Iga Swiatek
Karolina Pliskova has to pay tribute to the efforts of the past few days: The former world number one, who won her first title in over four years in Cluj-Napoca last week, cannot play at the WTA 1000 event in Doha due to an injury in the lower part of the They will not be able to compete in their semi-final against Iga Swiatek.
Swiatek is once again in the final of one of her favorite tournaments. The four-time Grand Slam winner won in Doha in both 2022 and 2023.
In the final on Saturday, Iga Swiatek will face Elena Rybakina or Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
