According to several Italian media including Corriere della Sera and Formu1a.one, the management of the Scuderia is determined to bring in the eight-time English world champion in 2025.

The 2024 Formula 1 season has not yet started and Ferrari is busy behind the scenes. The Scuderia recently extended Charles Leclerc’s contract, which expired at the end of the year. And according to information from Corriere della Sera and of Formu1a.one the director of the Italian team Frédéric Vasseur is determined to bring Lewis Hamilton in from 2025 alongside the Monegasque driver.

The Briton with seven world championship titles recently extended his contract with Mercedes until 2025, putting an end to speculation surrounding a departure. But this contract would actually be for one year, with another optional. Enough to pave the way for an arrival at Ferrari in 2025. The second seat of the Maranello team is currently occupied by the Spaniard Carlos Sainz. His contract, which expires at the end of 2024, is slow to be renewed. A sign of change to come?
