GROSSETO – The work to remove the architectural barriers in the archery sports facility in via Lago di Varano has been completed. The intervention, with a total value of 120 thousand euros, made it possible to create a special walkway and expand the sports field which will now be able to host paralympic competitions. The facility is managed by the Maremmana Arcieri Company presided over by a former Italian player, Stefano Mazzi, currently coach of the national youth compound team. In addition to the mayor and councilors Riccardo Ginanneschi (Public Works), Fabrizio Rossi (Sport) and Sara Minozzi (Social Affairs), Vittorio Polidori, federal councilor Fitarco, was also present; Stefano Mazzi, president of the Compagnia Maremmana Arcieri and Tiziano Faraoni, president of the Fitarco Toscana regional committee, together with a delegation from the Italian national archery team.
