The Breton Thom Gicquel, associated with Christo Popov, concluded the meeting with a victory in three sets against the Dutch pair composed of Andy Buijk and Timo Stoffelen (21-7, 19-21, 21-6).
On Wednesday, the Blues launched their Euro perfectly by dominating England (4-1). Thom Gicquel, then associated with Toma Junior Popov, Christo’s brother, had already won his doubles.
