While it’s been more than two years since we last saw him in an octagon, Francis Ngannou will indeed make his return to MMA in the near future. We even know who the Cameroonian should face… and it didn’t fail to cause controversy.
Only a few weeks left before Francis Ngannou’s second English boxing fight. After facing Tyson Fury, he will cross swords with another Briton in the person of Anthony Joshua. This shock should also bring him the biggest check of his career, no less than 20 million dollars. Amounts light years away from what he was able to earn during his MMA journey.
Given that he has not been seen in a cage since January 2022 and his victory against Ciryl Gane, many feared that he would never return to this discipline. His bosses at the PFL, however, always assured that this would be the case and a priori, these were not empty words since the Predator will soon face the winner of the tournament organized between the American league and Bellator, before their merger :
