Formula 1: Grands Prix, dates, locations… The official calendar for the 2024 season

The longest season in the history of Formula 1. This is what the grid will tackle for the 75th vintage in F1 history. On the program, 24 weekends spread from March 2 to December 8, without forgetting the pre-season tests (February 21 in Bahrain).

The 20 drivers will kick off the year – and this has become a habit – in Sakhir, before continuing with the Jeddah GP in Saudi Arabia. The first part of the season will be marked by the big tour in Asia (Australia, Japan, China) with races early on Sunday morning, French time.

Three weekends in a row to finish

An unmissable event of the season, the legendary Monaco Grand Prix will take place on May 26, while Spa will conclude the mid-season on July 28. The paddock will then have a break of almost a month before resuming in Zandvoort (Netherlands), and Monza (Italy) and then traveling to the four corners of the world (Azerbaijan, Singapore, United States, Mexico, Brazil) . End point of the season: three consecutive weekends in Las Vegas, Qatar then Abu Dhabi on December 8, 2024.

What do the drivers wear out? “We are going to talk to F1 about it, to see if there is anything to do in the future so that the end of the year is a little more normal, because there are already a lot of races, a lot of trips at the end… We can do a little better on the layout of the Grands Prix”, hoped the triple world champion of Red Bull Max Verstappen at the end of last season. We will have to wait until 2025, even if rumors of a 25th Grand Prix are still circulating.
