Former soccer player Alonso Solís was arrested this Wednesday (see attached video).
Images from Teletica.com show Solís handcuffed, in the custody of three judicial agents, in the Goicoechea Courts, in San José.
René Argeñal, defense attorney for the former player, indicated that he cannot refer to the case at the moment, and indicated that they are trying to resolve his situation.
The Public Ministry confirmed, after a consultation by this media, that the musician is also suspected of violating the Law on the Penalization of Violence against Women. In addition, the Prosecutor’s Office indicated that it will request precautionary measures against him.
In November 2019, Solís’ now ex-wife, a woman named Soto, had filed a complaint against him for alleged mistreatment and offenses.
The couple married in July 2018, but divorced in December 2020.
However, months later, Solís and Soto reconciled and even announced it on social networks.
